This release attempts to illustrate that pang of, "The times really have changed since I last heard/noticed/saw that...". Have you ever watched a movie from [current year], only to find that the cultural references and supporting vernacular of the characters' lines all feel suspiciously and slightly old? A perfect example is when I hear somebody say aloud the phrase, "Epic fail," in a primetime television show in 2018. Language that was considered "in" about 5, 6, 8 years ago are finding their way into the mainstream strangely late. On a larger scale, I sometimes don't realize how outdated something has become until the moment it is staring me in the face again. This release is dedicated to the slow sneaky way that time likes to do this to us, coloring our experience of the past and present perpetually.
