Where many of my recordings are dedicated to memories and timelines of potential significance, I am sometimes compelled to try and recapture a mental space of a location where I've never actually set foot. Sometimes I see and feel these places that seem very real and aesthetic-informing to my reality. Whenever I listen to those lo-fi hip-hop beat tapes, with the metropolitan domestic GIF animation loop to complement the music, I get a feeling of my ultimate dream cityscape home, and it is always a very particular and recurrent feeling that comes with this daydream. This album is my dedication to that fictitious, half-lucidly fleshed out apartment that a trust fund version of myself must surely be benefiting from. Dedicated to a recurrent place, partially in a dream series but also in some form existent in this world too. Enjoy!
